Redesign 002 18ct gold

Redesign of customers 18ct gold rings.

Customer brought in three 18ct gold rings that were to be redesigned into a “Spinning Ring”

We decided to use the old signet ring and the broken diamond ring for the base ring and stretch and shape the three coloured gold ring (red, White and Yellow) for the spinner.

• The two rings are cleaned and melted into a bar

• The bar is cleaned and rolled  into a square bar

• The square bar is rolled into two 1.2×1.2mm bars and a flat strip of 0.6mm thickness.

  

  
  
• The three colour ring is shaped and stretched.
• The flat strip and the 1.2mm bars are shaped into rings and soldered

• The three rings of the base are now soldered together with the spinner floating .
• The ring is cleaned and polished
