When you first call into Lismore Goldsmith please do bring any jewellery with you so we can assess it. Una or Moritz will weigh any metals and/or gemstones to see what is suitable for remodelling. Some pieces are not suitable for melting and old stones can be broken or chipped – we will advise on what to use for your new piece and what is best to set aside.

Some people come to us with a clear idea of what they want. Other people are not so sure yet. Either way, Moritz and Una will guide you through the process and discuss the opportunities for your piece. We have many reference sketches, images, and pieces of jewellery available on-site to help us work out just what you have in mind.

After our conversation, we’ll begin working on a design. Within a couple of working days, we’ll get in touch with you with images and further information – ideas, options, and sketches.

Once you’ve decided on the design that’s for you, we will provide you with a final quote. A 20% deposit secures the order and the balance is paid on completion.

Generally, remodelling projects take between 2–6 weeks. If you have a particular date you’d like to have the remodelled piece by, let us know. We will do what we can to have your piece ready in time for you.

On completion of your redesign, we will contact you. You can either visit us in our shop in Lismore to collect it personally, or we can arrange a secure and insured courier service to deliver it to your doorstep.
